Sebastià Petit Art Contemporani was founded in 1983 by its present director, Sebastià
Petit.
In 1988 this gallery changed in concept, becoming an
alternatively managed agency and gallery with the aim
of displaying new trends in national and international
contemporary art.
It should be noted that the activities are carried out
without any specific space, looking for alternatives
in terms of presentation, distribution and funding.
A capacity to change strategy is therefore essential,
as well as having different spaces within a single phase
that is never considered definitive, creating netobras
for content production and the search for necessary
media.
We work with artists of our time: Àngel Jové, Ricardo
Echevarría, Adolf Genovart, Xavier Franquesa, Albert
Bayona, Jordi Jové Viñes, Vicente Pascual, Aureli Ruiz,
Daniel Steegmann.
